Tinnitus – There’s A Ringing In My Ears.

Tinnitus is a perception of noise where there is no sound actually present, put simply, tinnitus can sound like a ringing in the ears. It can sound like ringing, hissing, buzzing or even as loud as an avalanche. Research has found that the ear where the ringing occurs is a good indication of what might be wrong.

Tinnitus occurring in the left ear is usually caused by having an allergy to rice. The “rice allergy food group” consists of rice, cinnamon, blueberries, grapes, strawberries, watermelons, wine, and pumpkins. This allergy can be corrected with the minerals Manganese, Vitamin B-6, and the amino acid Arginine.  The Yucca root is an herb that is an excellent source of Manganese. However, ringing in the right ear can be caused by wheat and corn allergy and can be corrected with Vitamin F (found in safflower oil, olive oil, and sunflower oil), the mineral Magnesium, and the amino acids Histidine and GABA.

Now that we know each ear is affected by a different allergy the measures we can take to relieve the tinnitus would be reworking the diet. This can be accomplished by eliminating the allergy causing foods and incorporating the missing nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids back into our diet.

If you have eliminated allergy-causing foods and added more vitamins, minerals, and amino acids into your diet and are still having ringing in your ears, there are other ways to help restore the quietness in the ears.

Home Remedies that Natural Doctors Give Their Patients

Tinnitus can also be a dysfunction in the central nervous system. Our body naturally produces GABA, which is an amino acid that aids in the transmission of signals in the nervous system. By combining herbs such as GABA Plus, Passion Flower, Valerian Root, and Hops you can increase your own natural GABA productions. This increase of GABA may help to alleviate the tinnitus.

If a person has had tinnitus for a while, we express having a great deal of patience and continue with the remedies mentioned before. In our experience, we have learned it can take at least one month for every year the person has had the condition before the problem is corrected. So, if a person has had this problem for three years, it may take at least three months on a program before they begin to notice a difference.

Alternative Methods

Chiropractors have had success in manipulating the spin and the jaw joint (TMJ), which is connected to the ear bone, to relieve tinnitus and Acupuncturist can relieve tinnitus by stimulating nerve pressure points on the ear itself. Another alternative method you can try is Ear Candling, in the case of tinnitus the warm smoke and the gentle vacuum can act as a stimulant to clear out debris that has collected on the nerve endings, and so reducing the “ringing” sound in your ear. It is advised that a person who is suffering from what they think may be tinnitus should be examined by their healthcare professional before beginning any method.
