Homemade Mayonnaise (Candida-Free)

Making your own homemade mayonnaise lets you be in control of what goes in it and what stays out of it. Homemade mayonnaise can be made the traditional way with eggs or without, making it vegetarian or vegan using silken tofu or raw nuts. It can be Candida-Free by not using any sugar or vinegar. Making your homemade mayonnaise lets you control what you put into yours and your families body.

Vegetarian Mayonnaise

1 lb. Silken Tofu or 1 cup of nuts

1/2 cup Lemon Juice

1 cup Safflower Oil

1 tsp. Sea Salt

1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard

Regular Mayonnaise

2 Eggs

2 tbs. Lemon Juice

1 1/4 cup Safflower Oil

1/4 tsp. Sea Salt

1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients, except oil, in a blender on high speed, for 1 min.
  2. Slowly add in the Safflower Oil.
  3. Store in a glass jar.

*Must use dry mustard for the recipe to be Candida-Free.
