Simple Black Bean Dip ~ Candida-Free & Gluten-Free

Candida-free black bean dip

Black Bean Dip is super simple to make. It is a  great combination of carbohydrates and protein that will satisfy your appetite, waken up your taste buds while revving up your metabolism.

Ingredients:

1 can Black Beans – drained and rinsed

1 small  jalapeño – minced

1/4 tsp. sea salt

1/8 tsp. black pepper

1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic

1/2 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. dried oregano or 1/4 cup fresh

1/4 to 1/2 cup filtered water

Directions:

Drain and rinse black beans. Mince jalapeño, remove seeds if you do not want your dip too spicy, then combine jalapeño and other ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse until ingredients look like a slurry. Add black beans to jalapeño slurry and pulse until combined, you can leave it a little chunky or make it smooth. Refrigerate for 2 – 4 hours to allow flavors to come together.

Serve with assorted vegetables such as carrot or celery sticks or sliced cucumbers.  Enjoy!
